Air Canada has discontinued its Toronto to Mumbai route. The discontinuation is a consequence of the launch of Air India's direct Toronto-Mumbai flight, which includes new comfort features. The new route aims to compete with Air Canada's service. The decision is part of Air Canada's strategy to adjust its flight offerings. The Toronto-Mumbai route was a key part of Air Canada's network. Air India's new flight is expected to attract passengers looking for direct travel options between Canada and India.
