Fox News host Jesse Watters expressed doubts about receiving $5,000 checks, criticized Republican midterm election results, and compared political support shifts to wavering feelings for a spouse. He described the GOP coalition as in disarray and the recent election as a severe defeat. Watters stated that these political changes are short-lived and will ebb and flow. His comments came during a broadcast where he seemingly gave up on Republican success after the midterm elections.
