Canada's public broadcaster, CBC, has made several significant announcements in recent months. It has appointed Ariel Yang as head of digital originals, which includes microdramas. Additionally, the CBC has published a Northbeat report analyzing the U.S. midterm elections. Furthermore, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is negotiating with the German government for the purchase of submarines, with initial orders for 8 and potential future orders for an additional four. Defence analysts warn that lowering submarine procurement could impact Canada's influence with manufacturers.
