Dr. Annie Andrews, a U.S. Senate candidate, engaged with the public at a town hall, challenging Senator Darline Graham on trade measures and increasing prices during a visit by President Trump to South Carolina. Andrews expressed concern over Graham's management of the concerns, while Trump supported Graham in a close political battle. The event showed the intensity of the campaign, with both candidates and Trump being significant figures in the campaign.
